What about the Maculosus?
The Maculosus is a beautiful large angelfish also known as the yellowbar angelfish for its bright yellow bar that stretches across vertically along the middle section of the body. The Maculosus can be found in along the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. The Maculosus can grow to be 1.6 ft in length so make sure to have a large tank.
The Maculosus is a sturdy Angelfish thus making it easy to maintain. Keep the temperature between 72-78° F, alkalinity between 8-12, and pH range from 8.1-8.4, preferabbly in a 200 gallon tank or larger.
What to feed it?
The diet of the Maculosus Angelfish should include Spirulina, marine algae, meaty items, and high-quality angelfish preparations containing sponges.
Do not try to keep a Maculosus Angelfish with a Asfur Angelfish. The resemblance of the yellow blotch on both Angelfish causes them to be aggressive towards one another.
